Teaspoonful of soulful jazz

By Lufuno Mutele

AWebTimes Reporter

TEASPOON Ndelu maintained the splendour of the occasion with his soulful jazz. He kept moving among the delegates, blowing to the delight of the audience. At times he would play saxophone then switch to pennywhistle. He churned out some beautiful melodies.

Delegates mingled cheerfully after coming out of eight hours of rigorous deliberations. A buzz of light conversations and chuckles filled the air as people reflected on the first successful day of the Acacia Conference.

Ndelu is part of a band called T&T that performed last night at the gala dinner held around the pool at Kwa Maritane. These events are part of Acacia’s entertainment for delegates.

The cocktail party that followed the launch of Connectivity Africa has surely won a place in the history books as one of the liveliest.
