It is perhaps fortunate that South
Africa’s police are so busy raiding strip joints that they did not
have time to check on all the criminal activity at Pilansberg. Many of
the ICTs being demonstrated at the Acacia conference (and which offer
huge potential for bridging the digital divide) are illegal in terms
of the Telkom monopoly.
The delegate who has been walking
around loudly whistling “The Song is ended but the Melody lingers on”
