AITEC is the publisher of Computers+ Telecommunications in Africa magazine – a leading guide to Information Technology in Africa. Established in 1989, AITEC has developed offices in the following countries:
The African IT Education Trust Initiated by AITEC, the Trust was established in 1999, under the patronage of Graca Machel, to mobilise funding for IT education projects aimed at Africa’s youth. The Trust is providing support to the SchoolNet Africa project and is developing Information Sciences Enterprise Campuses to promote high-level IT knowledge (www.aitet.org).
