Babacar Fall

Cyber Jeunes: Senegalese Youth and ICTs

Dr. Babacar Fall is Associate Professor  at The Ecole Normale Supérieure (School of Education) of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Sénégal. He is specialized in teachers' training and curriculum development in the social sciences.

He is coordinating a Senegalese NGO (GEEP- Groupe pour l’Etude et l’Enseignement de la Population) which specialises in population and education.  Dr. Fall is the Director of a pilot experience called "promotion of family life education in Senegalese High Schools". This experience includes building youth capacities and integrating the Information Communication and Technologies in the students' social and cultural activities through  "cyber youth".  

 

Dr. Babacar Fall is member of the Steering Committee of Schoolnet Africa.
