Ephraim Siluma holds a M.Ed from Wits University. He is a Researcher with the South African Institute for Distance Education where he is mainly involved in researching use of technologies in education.

He has played a crucial role in the following ICTs in education projects done by SAIDE.

§        Evaluation of the Acacia Supported Schools Networking Projects where he was particularly responsible for the Mozambique case study.

§        Evaluation of evaluation of Telkom 1000 Schools Internet project with specific focus on the role of SchoolNet SA

§        Evaluation of Telkom Supercentres and Thintana I-Learn projects -both implemented by SchoolNet SA.

Researching use of CD and Web based resources in schools.
