What is ICT4D?

ICT4D is a short form for “ICTs for development” whereby the intended impact of using ICTs as tools is to help alleviate poverty and improve communities’ wellbeing.  The International Development Research Centre of Canada ( IDRC) supports research projects that address the challenges of sustainable and equitable development.
